چکیده
Purpose. To establish regularities of changes in sand-sodium-silicate mixtures (SSSM) relative water resistance, structured by steam-microwave solidification method (SMS), on their structuring parameters and sodium silicate solute (SSS) dissolution conditions. Methodology. Technical purity water, SSS with 2.83.0 modulus, quartz sand 0.23 mm average particle size were used this work. Studies carried out samples, which preliminarily cladded 0.52.5% (by weight) SMS method. The fracture time was evaluated cubic specimens 20 rib length, immersed at different temperatures. Findings. Changes SSSM resistance depending manufacturing, use storage conditions established. Recommendations for rods removal from castings developed. Originality. For the first time, it has been established that decreases along increase temperature is destroyed. Depending mass cladding range 0.52.5%, dependence treatment environment 27 minutes running acquires an inversion character point `3.1 into processing. discovered boiling SSSM, SMS-process having preheating, monotonically increases preheating rising 100 to 600 , sharply when heated 600700 practically becomes absolute after higher Practical value. Research results will be useful concepts processes accompanying destruction sands water-soluble binders expanding, as well technologies equipment development designed mold rests removing castings.

Electrical Breakdown Characteristics of Sodium Chloride - Water Mixtures
The electrical breakdown characteristics of Na Cl-water mixtures are investigated over the concentration range from pure distilled water to a saturated salt solution at 20°C, The electrode material used is stainless steel and is arranged in a point-plane geometry. The electrode spacing is varced from 1-3 mm giving "average" electric fields as high as 5 MV/m. The voltage and current through the ...

متن کاملliquefaction resistance of sand-silt mixtures using laboratory based shear wave velocity
laboratory data, which relate the liquefaction resistance of firoozkooh sand and non-plastic silt mixtures to shear wave velocity are presented and compared to liquefaction criteria derived from seismic field measurements by andrus and stokoe [1]. in the work described herein, cyclic triaxial and resonant column tests were conducted on specimens of clean sand and sand-silt mixtures with silt co...
متن کاملMechanical response of sodium silicate glass
We propose a new method using coarse-graining and molecular dynamics to calculate structural and mechanical properties for sodium silicate glasses at different scales. Using this method we were able to describe the mechanical behavior of the material, this way a new constitutive model was developed which could be used in continuum calculations.
متن کاملDetermination and Modeling of Activity Coefficients of Sodium Chloride in (Glycerol + Water) Mixtures Based on Potentiometric Measurements
In this work, the results concerning to the mean activity coefficient measurements for NaCl in the (glycerol + water) system using the potentiometric method are reported. The potentiometric measurements were performed on the galvanic cells without liquid junction of the type: Ag|AgCl|NaCl (m), glycerol (wt%), H2O (1 - wt)%|Na-ISE, in various mixed solvent systems containing 0, 5, 10,...
